Lensed by famed fashion photographer Mario Testino, Kate sports a brand new platinum crop and she is looking gorgeous on the cover in a black Roland Mouret dress and bleach-blonde cropped hairdo.But Kate has not actually cut down her hair.It's a faux bob.A mixture between Victoria Beckham's tousled bob and Gwyneth Paltrow's choppy 'do from Sliding Doors,it's a fun and edgy look for the Oscar winner.
Kate talked about many things in this issue like about being single, and her reluctance to enter into therapy and much more.
Talking about being single, Kate says, "Experiencing those moments of being alone is a very,very weird flooring and exposing position to be in when you're just not used to it. And it's not just being in a relationship. It's also the fact that I grew up in a family full of people,"
"But I've never been lonely. And with my kids Mia and Joe that remains the case,But to be in this place now where I can say I really like this space, I really need to not have anyone around,It's a surprise to discover that I like being on my own." she added.
Why She Hasn't Gone To Therapy: "One of the reasons I've never done intensive psychotherapy or any of that stuff is that if there's anything in me that needs fixing, I want to know that I can rely on my own intuition to fix it."
On weight struggles when she was younger: "I will tell you that when I was heavy, people would say to me -and it was such a backhanded compliment - they would say, 'You've got such a beautiful face,' in the way of, like, 'Oh, isn't it a shame that from the neck down you're questionable.' "
On whether she's had plastic surgery or wants to change anything about her body: "No, I have never tried any of that stuff.I don't have parts of my body that I hate or would like to trade for somebody else's or wish I could surgically adjust into some fantasy version of what they are."
